Texas Prison System Experiencing Delays in Mail Delivery

Here at TexasParoleNow.com and our publishers RebellionBooks.com, we pride ourselves on getting our products to our customers as quickly as possible both because that is the professional thing to do as well as the fact that the topics we write on are ones which can cause a great deal of worry.

We were informed last week that many prison units in Texas are experiencing delays in mail deliveries. While this started immediately after Hurricane Harvey struck the Southern coast of Texas, the units affected aren’t necessarily in that area and we have not been able to determine why the delays are occurring.

Our books do not appear to be suffering from the same delays as the regular mail going to the incarcerated offenders (at least not yet). We do send out books using a method where we can track the books, see the delivery date, etc. and we will keep an eye on the situation and let you know if our books start experiencing delays.

In the meantime, if you have a friend or loved one who is in one of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice prisons and you’ve written and not hear back, it is likely due to the mail delays and isn’t an extra reason to worry.
