Ten people, all who already work for Texas Department of Criminal Justice, are being considered for as replacement for retiring Executive Director Brad Livingston. Livingston, who leaves his post in August, leads nearly 40,000 employees, manages a $3 billion annual budget, directs more than 100 prisons with nearly 150,000 inmates and oversees the hotly debated execution of Texas prisoners on death row.
