The State of Texas Correctional Institutions Division provides $50 and a bus ticket to offenders released on parole or mandatory supervision to help with transportation to the community to which they will be paroled and with other expenses involved in resettling in the community. They will also receive an additional $50 upon reporting to their parole office.
